Fishersgate Community Association

The acorns have grown.

Will the phoenix rise from the ashes?

The FCA is putting together plans and a budget so as to be able to provide a community facility in Fishersgate. The “Dome” itself will go and we are working with Adur District Council to replace it with an open use sports area in association with the proposed Healthy Living Centre in St Peter’s Church. We intend to refit and complete the two long wings to provide spacious community facilities along with changing rooms for the restored Roller Rink where we will be able to host a wide range of sports. There will also be good spectator facilities and public toilets. We are working to put this before ADC on the 27th January 2009 which would allow for the opening in July August 2009.
